The Elves’ Adventure

In the recent past I have been working on two very different projects:
Fairy Tale and Fantasy lives in all of us and the artist's task is to lead us into this world. The infinity of fantasy can be seen in any dimension and the artist's sensitivity in her creation. In my work I prefer to chose figure modeling. Creation fo me is making harmony in the elements. I use earth and mud to create my statues with the help of water. The air makes them dry and solid, then the fire and the flames decide if they can stay alive and enter the world of man.

My other project is on The Woman.
These large-sized instrument statues mostly deal with femininity and the existence of woman. I use terra alba and iron to express aspects of strong femininity. „The whiteness of clay is as noble and elegant as the woman's spirit. The hardness of metal is just like the World in which we have to stay alive... We cover our souls in colours, gold and silver because we carry the future in our bodies, the Embryo. White suits every station in a woman's life: from the proud virgin, to a devoted
lover, from the mother who makes harmony, to a worn out and tired elderly lady. WHITE leads a long way because the White is the entirety itself: Birth and Death."

Discovering familiar faces in my sister's Bubutimár Éva work every now and again does not surprise me. But what is surprising is that her firm beliefs in the community came across so strongly in this Fairy Tale. Because I know that She believes: The hard work, the actual knowledge of making potions and jams that she has, the tender care for others - these are not just everyday tasks but the real joy in the collective. This is the FEAST itself. Imagination made from mud and clay brings an important message, despite the fact that CsiGabi the express postman once in a while forgets to hand it on... The celebration of the Manós around the Lake is awaiting you in the Valley of Arts (Művészetek Völgye), Kapolcs. On the way there You may meet lazy Manós or magicians under the influence of the elixir of forgetfulness and laziness. But what you do with them I leave up to you.
