After 16 years, MKB Veszprém's handball team is the winner of the Cup Winners' Cup again! This piece of news alone could make the headlines, for a triumph of this magnitude speaks for itself.

Herend Porcelain Manufactory has been supporter of the team for several years, so we feel that this success is something we are particularly content about as the trophy went to a team so close to us.
The Veszprém team defeated Germany's Rhein-Neckar Löwen by 5 goals in the first leg of the final. Many cherished a secret hope that the world famous team of Bakony's county seat would once again grab the trophy for the first time since 1992. In the second leg in Germany the team pulled off a tie in a heroic match, through the phenomenal individual and team performance of its players, securing a 5-goal win in total and a well-earned trophy.

Apart from the Magyar Külkereskedelmi Bank, a well-known Hungarian bank, the cup winner team is also sponsored by an excellent manufactory: the Herend Porcelain Manufactory. Our initial cooperation with the team started in 2006. We are proud of having worked alongside the winner in this exemplary joining of top quality forces.
We hope that those using their talents for the good of Hungarian handball will enjoy moments like this in the future and so will we, supporters and fans of this fantastic team. Although the trophy and recognition goes to the winners, the joy is shared by everyone.
