The official website of Herend Porcelain Manufactory was a major success at the Hypnosis Creative Advertisements competition, having finished 3rd in the Online Website category. This year too, the competitors were judged by an international panel of experts, headed by Stefan Krüger, editor-in-chief of the German Werbung und Verkaufen. The prizes were handed over at a ceremony held on April 17th on the Grand Creative Day, with Webshark and Herend having been the joint winners of a 3rd place. This success is quite an achievement, not least because their project, Herend Website, is a corporate web page with a huge data base and content, unlike that of the winners of the 1st and 2nd places, both having focused on a particular product or service where the accompanying ideas were based on creativity of a more spectacular type.
The official home page of the Herend Porcelain Manufactory has become a source of carefully structured set of ideas, highlights, attractions, and the company's seasonal magazine – previously to be found on diverse, individual pages with various graphic appearances and content versions. Following positive feedback on pages completed before Christmas last year – based on a high number of visitors to the website and their appreciative comments – this was the first sign of success coming from representatives of the industry. We hope that this was just the beginning of a new era!
