There were smooth fruit scents widespread in the Apicius Café on the 19th April in the afternoon hours as the 'Evenings with Wine' lasting for two and a half years this time continued:

This time with pálinka. The range of alcoholic drinks is increasing worldwide. It may sound exaggeration but the history of alcohol is almost as old as that of mankind. Mr Csaba Gulyás, an extremely popular drinks-expert presented a selection of Noble Zwack Pálinka while introduced the Guests the mystery of pálinka-making in cozy surroundings. As is known, without damaging the prestige of this industry - the geographical conditions of Hungary have made it possible to grow a wide diversity of excellent quality fruit - in 2004, Hungary (along with 4 counties of Austria) received the exclusive right from the European Union to the name pálinka as a trademark, given to beverages distilled exclusively from fruits.

Our Guests at Apicius spent a charming evening with tasting pálinka and found access to the culture of this beverage, just to be convinced: the quality is what is browsing pleasure.
