10. February 2007.
A chance to meet under one roof the exclusive fashion design collection of János Héjja associated with the Herend Porcelain Manufactory Ltd. was the Wedding Exhibition Budapest 2007.
How come these two names appear together, you may ask. Both brands offer something unique and especial in their respective fields. Herend Porcelain has been an unique Hungarian product for over 180 years, representing refined taste, quality and style in porcelain making. Héjja Trend Line and his works do not even need introduction in detail. And we would all like to see the tenderly well-known Herend décors - like Apponyi, Viktoria, Rothschild, as the Vienna Rose or the Chinosorie-style Siang Noir - performed with well-deserved success on Héjja Trend Line's fashion collection.
This collection outlined the path to success and was first presented at the First Class Party on the 3rd November 2006 in the Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal, however opened for a closer audience compared to the number of visitors came to the Budapest Wedding Exhibition at the weekend 26-28th January 2007.
For the very first time the fashion designer - most famous for his wedding dresses - hosted the creator of the distinctive porcelain. Héjja Trend Line was founded 1990 and the uniqueness of the garments is enhanced for today by the Herend patterns painted onto the delicate fabrics. As the Herend Porcelain Manufactory has never been presented before on a special wedding and evening haute couture.
There is a moderate demand in Hungary for high fashion design, the two companies do have a lot in common such as a corporate philosophy of producing hand-crafted unique objects of extremely high quality using first-class materials for the most discerning customers.
