Representatives of the Herend Porcelain Manufactory, the Hungarian Foreign Trade Bank (MKB) and the MKB Veszprém Handball Club ceremonially sign a cooperation agreement in Café Apicius, Herend.

It is almost self-explanatory: an outstanding porcelain manufactory, an outstanding bank and an outstanding sports team have decided to join forces for a mutually beneficial future cooperation in sports.

In supporting this popular sport, which boasts an expanding fan base, the Manufactory hopes to bring Herend Porcelain closer to people and address the younger generation as well. Sports stand for a positive feeling just like Herend Porcelain's quality tableware. Life would be emptier without sports just as it would without exquisite porcelain.

The MKB Handball Club in Veszprém is a successful, dynamic and widely acknowledged handball team, which has earned plaudits in Hungary and abroad, just like Herend Porcelain.

It is the Manufactory's mission to increase a discerning demand for quality tableware and to incorporate it into the lifestyle of the younger generation, offering the alternative of fine dining in defiance of the mushrooming trend for fast food restaurants.
