The leaders of the 32 strong delegation of September 4th were H.E. Dr. Kanthati Suphamongkhon, director of the Thai Trade Office, H.E. Mr. Kririk-Krai Jirapaet, the deputy minister of Thailand for Tourism and Sport, as well as Dr. Rewat Wisarutwet, the managing director of the Thai Public Health Ministry. The guests were scheduled to spend 20 minutes in the display room, but instead, they stayed for three quarters of an hour marveling at the beautiful porcelain objects. They then went to the Mini Manufactory where they could observe the porcelain manufacturing process, before a lunch at the Apicius Restaurant.
The guests indicated that further Thai visitors can be expected at Herend in the near future.
