The magic of the Artistic Glass
The Moser Company has contributed important works of glass art that are representative of every major design movement since its founding in 1857, from Neo-Renaissance to Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Contemporary and everything in between.
Starting in 19th Century, Moser participated in design exhibitions that established its reputation throughout the world. Included were the benchmark World Columbian Exhibition of 1893 in Chicago, the World Exhibition of 1900 in Paris, the World Exhibition of 1904 in St. Louis, EXPO Brussels in 1958, XII Triennial in Milan in 1960 and many others. Participating in major exhibitions catapulted Moser into the forefront of design movements that defined the great artistic developments of the 19th and 20th Centuries.
Continuing in this tradition of innovation and excellence, Moser has invited glass artist from around the world to interpret and re-define Art Glass on the threshold of the 21st Century. New collections are emerging from Moser that are characterized by the individual styles of their creators, designs that focus attention on the beauty, purity and unique coloration of Moser glass. The resulting innovative shapes and patterns enrich Moser's repertory - a creative collaboration of design and production.
The Moser assortment has been continuously enriched with modern works designed by top personalities of glass design, such as Ivana Houserová, Frantisek Janák, Vladimír Jelínek, Oldrich Lípa, Jan Mares, Jaroslav Stursa, Jirí Suhájek, Petr Vadura, Frantisek Vízner, Stanislav Zampach and the younger generation of glass artists - Katerina Dousová and Karolína Koprivová,.
The Moser Studio, the driving force of the product development in the Moser glassworks, focuses on creating
a wide variety of unique designs of stemware, barware, decorative and gift items as well as limited editions. Thanks to the unique craftsmanship of the glass masters the glassworks became the place of execution for many artistically valuable designs. Artistic glass produced by Moser reached a pinnacle of design and technical perfection, which remains unsurpassed to the present day.
