Herend and the Hungaricum Club at the Hungarian Week in Baden Baden
The Herend Porcelain Manufactory Rt, along with the other members of the Hungaricum Club, exhibited at the "Hungarian Festival," organised as part of the Hungarian Week in Baden Baden, Germany.
Visitors could sample the innumerable delicacies of Hungarian gastronomy in the Hungaricum Club's tent, taste world famous Pick Salami, Tokaj wine and Unicum, and observe Herend Porcelain and the making of Halas lace
The largest exhibition of all, taking place in the Baden Baden Casino, prominently featured Herend products, and was opened by Sándor Peisch, Hungary's ambassador to Germany.
Others present at the festival included former prime minister, Gyula Horn, former German Foreign Minister Hans-Dietrich Genscher, current state secretary for tourism Béla Pál and the CEO of Hungarian Tourism Rt. Dr. Gábor Galla.
In addition, the Herend Porcelain Manufactory exhibited other masterpieces in the five star hotel, the Steingenberger Europaischer Hof, and also held a tableware display at the top of the range luxury hotel, the Bühlerhöhe.
