During his travels in Transdanubia, the Finance Minister paid a visit to Herend Porcelain Manufactory. General manager Sándor Polányi welcomed the guest.

Following to a trip to the plant - where the Minister viewed raw material production and the painters workshop - Sándor Polányi informed the guest on the company's current market position.

On response to journalists' questions the Minister denied that the government intended to sell the state's ownership of some 25%. On the contrary, the state is interested in increasing its share from the profit gained from stable growth.
