With the history of 181 years behind my back, I often imagine that I have lived to see many artistic styles that I have sailed with new winds, and worked with many famous artists. Through applied art, I believe, I can profess to feel at home in many fields of art, more or less. Throughout, I always believed, and perhaps this was the token of my success, that only the authentic is truly valuable. Here, in the porcelain city of the Bakony, in my true home, art with its thousands of different faces surprised me once again. And doubly so. Since the art of photography and music were joined together on this snowy November night. True, it was a heart-warming feeling that Herend is able, on the one hand, to inspire artists in want of a muse's kiss. I can say without hesitation that the awarded photos are creative, fresh, and full of ideas. View them under the "News" tab, while I shall present the grand-prize-winning photograph here as well, on this forum. Not only because it is excellent, but also as it bears a special significance: perhaps it is able, with its own artistic tools to depict a birth,  magic, if you will: the inspiration of Herend. Singer and artist Adrien Szekeres, in addition to being on the pinnacle of knowledge of her own profession, with her deeply human and lightly interactive magic, I believe made another notation in gold in the program book and history of Herend. On this snowy November night, thunderous applause dominated the Apicius Cafe: it was addressed to the fantastic photographs, a magical voice, to the sweeping, poignant concert, and to Herend. Please be my guests more often, let us meet on comparably similarly splendid occasions!
