My father was originally from Hungary and on every trip home he would bring back beautiful pieces of Herend and I would like to get information on these products as they are more than 30 years old would someone be able to help me. Is there someone near Montreal, Quebec canada that is an expert in these pieces that you can get me in contact with. Thank you.

Dear Herend!
I really like your luxurious and exclusive porcelains. I have just noticed at the Silberkammer exhibition in Hofburg, Vienna that emperor Maximilian I of Mexico also got Herend Porcelains in 1865, however he couldn't take it to Mexico because he left for Mexico in 1864 from Trieste. He was later executed in 1867. So he should be in the famous customers section of the web page.

I took 4 years of painting Nyon and Sevres floral designs on Limoges and other fine porcelaine with Gabrielle and Nicole in Morges, Switzerland for 4 years. I watched Mr. Attila Keezer paint at Hoagland's in Greenwich, Connecticut and I have a very steady hands when I paint on porcelaine. I wish I could be an apprentice and learn in your school for a career.
